The F80 BMW M3 “30 Years M3” or “30 Jahre M3” is a limited edition model based on the Competition Package, with a Macao Blue exterior.
Under the hood there’s a 3-liter turbocharged straight six with 450HP (331KW) and 406 lb-ft (550Nm). With the optional 7-speed dual-clutch transmission it can do 0-100km/h in 4 seconds, while the standard 6-speed manual can do it in 4.1 seconds.
There’s also adaptive M suspension, three driving modes (Comfort, Sport, Sport+), active rear differential, and 20-inch 666 M alloy wheels with 265/30 tires at the front and 285/30 at the rear.
The interior is finished in black and fjord blue, or black and Silverstone if that’s too dark for your liking.
The 30 Years M3 goes on sale in Germany during the summer of 2016 and is priced at €10,000 more than the Competition Package model. Only 500 “30 Years M3” or “30 Jahre M3” models will be made.
The BMW M3 was launched back in 1986 as a coupe with a turbocharged 4-cylinder, fast forward to 2016 and its now exclusively a 4-door sedan with a turbo straight-six engine.
