The Chevrolet Malibu has racked up 10 million sales over eight generations since the nameplate was first introduced in 1964.
The 10 millionth Malibu was sold in South Korea, with the lucky buyers receiving a lifetime Complete Care customer package.
Today, 90 percent of all Malibus are sold in the US, China and South Korea, and the current (eighth) generation sedan is built in various locations, including Detroit, Kansas City, Bupyeong (South Korea), Asaka (Uzbekistan) and Jingqiao (China).
Earlier this year, Chevrolet unveiled the ninth generation Malibu with much improved styling and turbocharged engines.
